• How often do you hold homebuyer education workshops?
We hold workshops once a month on Saturdays from 8:45 am-3pm.

• How do I know that down payment and closing costs assistance programs I qualify for?
During your one-on-one housing counseling appointment we will discuss what programs you qualify for.

• How long is the certificate good for?
Your certificate is good for one year from the date of your one-on-one appointment.

• Will I receive my certificate at the workshop?
No, you will receive a housing counseling voucher after you complete your one-on-one housing consoling appointment. When you have a contract on a house we will release your certificate that will be dated with the date of your one-one-one.

• How do I schedule a one-on-one housing counseling appointment?
After you complete your workshop call 410-947-0084 or email gparker@go-northwesthrc.org to set up your appointment.

• What do I need for the one-one-one housing counseling appointment?
Please bring copies of the following documents:
1. Last month’s pay stubs
2. Last three months of bank statements (checking and savings) ALL ACCOUNTS/ALL PAGES
3. W-2 Forms for last 2 years
4. Tax return for last year
5. Proof of any additional income (SSI, disability, rent, child support, etc.)
6. OPTIONAL: If you are working with a lender then you can bring your pre-approval letter or Loan Estimate
